Bold Ones are True Overcomers by Bonnie Jones

Bold Ones are True Overcomers

“There’s a bold generation on the horizon. Bold ones never fail, they succeed in Me. Those who stand in My presence learn to walk in My boldness and never fail, says God.”

There's a generation on the horizon that will do just this. Their entire life shall be dedicated to honoring the Lord. Not only shall they hear His voice and obey they shall not be tempted by sin. Oh yes the evil one will of course tempt them but these children are true overcomers. They shall not allow the enemy to tempt them; instead they shall walk in harmony with the Lord at all times and decree the Word. Therefore temptation shall not be a part of their life.

A Generation Who Resists Temptation

Currently the body of Christ struggles with temptation and make choices for them self. But the Lord shall be the only choice for this bold generation because they shall be steeped in the Word and saturated in God’s love. They shall know His way and walk in it. They shall denounce darkness and walk in the light because they are children of Light. They shall honor the Lord with their body, soul and spirit.

“Temptation got Adam and Eve in trouble, but this generation shall not fall prey. Will it be difficult says God? No, because they know their God and what pleases Me and they shall always choose Me first. Mind over matter? It does matter and their minds will be fixed on Me. Therefore I am always first and foremost on their mind unlike the generations of today. They choose Me afterwards or when I’m convenient to them. But this coming generation will always chooses Me first and always walk according to My will. Amen.”

We will see a great harvest from this generation. The old and young alike shall revel in the glory these young ones possess. “And they shall be led by a child, says God, and the rest shall follow.” These children take no glory for themselves - no never! They walk in love possessing Kingdom power and authority and honor God beyond any expectation. They are the generation who seek God’s face and see Him unveiled.

Let us all go forth this day and decree the Lord as Savior. And let us pray for this generation of babes on the horizon who will shape history in the name of the Lord and to His glory. And let us not forget to pray for their parents, grand parents, church leaders and all those who have influence in the lives of these bold babes. After all, they are the ones setting up the foundation for these children of Light. Let the ceiling of our generation be the floor of this bold generation that is now on the horizon. And let them be led by the seven-fold Spirit of God.

Personal Insight

I never like to add to what the Lord has spoken to me however I would like to share something He showed me that I feel is pertinent to this word.

In Matthew 6, Jesus instructed His disciples how to pray telling them to go into their private room and pray to the Father who is in secret and have intimate fellowship with Him. Jesus did not want them to be like the hypocrites in the synagogues. And He led them in a model prayer that we still use today.

Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. ***And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. (9-13)

It startled me that Jesus would say, “And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one.” Certainly God wouldn’t lead us into temptation would He? No, of course not. Then what does Jesus mean? The Lord took me to Genesis 6 and the account of God accepting Abel’s offering but rejecting Cain’s.

So the Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.” (Verse 6 & 7)

I realized that this is what Jesus meant. God would never lead us into temptation but He allows us to make choices for our selves. Then when the enemy comes tapping at the door of our heart and flooding our mind with deceitful thoughts; we can yield to his temptation. Sin’s desire is always for us but we must rule over it. Cain yielded to the enemy and immediately invited Abel into the field where he killed him.

But these bold ones walk according to God’s will consciously choosing to avoid temptation. And this is what the Father was speaking about in the above message. This bold generation is on the horizon now. They are in sight and on their way and coming forth with velocity. They are like Elijah’s hand-sized cloud (1 Kings 18:44) and once they start coming there will be no stopping them.

I see the LORD inspecting all that He has done in the secret place

I see the LORD inspecting all that HE has done in the secret place.
I see the Lord sitting with a very large cloth sack and He is removing things from it.
As I am watching Him, He is inspecting them as He removes them from this sack.
He then admires them and is polishing them.
He is placing them on the earth. And He is placing them very strategically.
They are His people who have been in hiding in the secret place with HIM.
They are almost ready to take flight on the earth. He has tears running down HIs Face
because they are very near and dear to HIs Heart.
He has been like a mother hen guarding them and watching them till there time of hatching was ready.
They have been hiding in HIS WINGS. He will say “WHEN” soon.
They are getting adjusted to there environments. They are waiting to”HEAR” the assignment.
I now see HIM putting HIS CROWN DOWN NEARBY.
These were the jewels in HIS CROWN he took out to RESTORE THE EARTH.
He is now calling forth the provision for their task at hand.
Instructing the angels where and what to do.
He bends down to inspect all that he has done in the secret place.
And it is GOOD.

My Presence on the Earth
From 4-18-2016

My people, Although I come to you in the night season, be prepared to see me come in the daylight.
You will not be Imagining when you see me in the daylight.
I have many things planned to come upon the earth
My very essence is in and on the earth.
Come sit with me so I can tell you all that I have.
In My heart there are many chambers.
Each one has your name on it.
Come investigate the crevices with your heart.
Be not moved when you come in.
It may not be what you expect.
Love only resides there.
Come be mine, Come love, Come be Love.
Come, Love.
Come be ingrained into my image.
Come sit in my presence.
Let my Love consume you as fire.
Come fellowship with me.
Come, sit.
Come sit with me.
Come be with Me.
I have not let you down.
Love takes time.

Who or what was Dagon?

Dagon
Question: "Who was Dagon in the Bible?"

Answer:
Dagon was the chief deity of the Philistines, and the worship of this pagan god dates back the third millennium BC. According to ancient mythology, Dagon was the father of Baal. He was the fish god (dag in Hebrew means “fish”), and he was represented as a half-man, half-fish creature. This image furthered an evolutionary belief that both men and fish had evolved together from the primal waters. Dagon may also have been the provider of grain. So Dagon was similar to many other idols in that he personified natural forces that had supposedly produced all things.

There are three places where Dagon is mentioned in the Bible. The first mention is Judges 16:23, where we are told that Dagon was the god of the Philistines. The Philistines offered “a great sacrifice” to Dagon, believing that their idol had delivered Samson into their hands. First Chronicles 10:10 mentions a temple of Dagon in which the head of King Saul was fastened. Then, in 1 Samuel 5, Dagon is brought to humiliation by the True God of the Israelites.

What an interesting story is found in 1 Samuel 5! The Philistines had captured the Ark of the Covenant, and they “carried the ark into Dagon’s temple and set it beside Dagon. When the people of [the city of] Ashdod rose early the next day, there was Dagon, fallen on his face on the ground before the ark of the Lord! They took Dagon and put him back in his place. But the following morning when they rose, there was Dagon, fallen on his face on the ground before the ark of the Lord! His head and hands had been broken off and were lying on the threshold; only his body remained. That is why to this day neither the priests of Dagon nor any others who enter Dagon’s temple at Ashdod step on the threshold. The Lord’s hand was heavy on the people of Ashdod and its vicinity; he brought devastation on them and afflicted them with tumors. When the people of Ashdod saw what was happening, they said, ‘The ark of the god of Israel must not stay here with us, because his hand is heavy on us and on Dagon our god’” (verses 2-7). Who says God does not have a sense of humor? This has to be one of the more funny passages in the entire Bible. For further reading, see 1 Samuel 6 for the account of the Philistines’ attempt to solve their dilemma— with golden rats and golden tumors (or, as some translations put it, “golden hemorrhoids”)!

Dagon figures into the story of Jonah, as well, although the deity is not mentioned by name in Jonah’s book. The Assyrians in Ninevah, to whom Jonah was sent as a missionary, worshiped Dagon and his female counterpart, the fish goddess Nanshe. Jonah, of course, did not go straight to Ninevah but had to be brought there via miraculous means. The transportation God provided for Jonah—a great fish—would have been full of meaning for the Ninevites. When Jonah arrived in their city, he made quite a splash, so to speak. He was a man who had been inside a fish for three days and directly deposited by a fish on the shores of Assyria. The Ninevites, who worshiped a fish god, were duly impressed; they gave Jonah their attention and repented of their sin.

Spirit of Dagon / War against God's People

1. Introduction
DAGON SPIRIT
Dagon was the chief god of the Philistines and he was worshipped in the
physical form of half-man and half-fish. He was known as the god of the grain and the harvest. Many temples were built where Dagon was worshipped. It was in such a temple where the Philistines placed the Ark of the Lord when they captured it in war. The details of this occurrence are described in 1 Samuel 4, 5. Sampson‟s final battle also took place in a temple of Dagon and is described in Judges 16:23-31.
A Biblical example of the Dagon spirit in operation can be seen in Eli‟s sons. Eli‟s sons sinned by claiming the best of the tithes offered to God as well as committing sexual immorality at the temple. These are two of the main fruits evident in those who have a Dagon spirit. The sin of Eli‟s two sons resulted in the capture of the Ark of the Covenant by the Philistines. However, God shortly afterwards confirms His triumph over the Dagon spirit in the enemy‟s camp. Gods Ark was set up in the temple of Dagon and the statue of Dagon fell down twice in the presence of God‟s Ark. The Philistines were quick to acknowledge their sin and sent a trespass offering with the Ark back to Israel. (1 Samuel 6:2-13)
Dagon was worshipped in the following ways:
  •   Child sacrifice
  •   Required statues to be made and worshipped, in this case in the likeness of a
    half-man half-fish
  •   They avoided eating fish, in reverence to their god Names Dagon is worshipped under today
  •   Rejoiced over the capture of their enemies such as Samson (Judges 16:23)
  •   They brought the trophies of their victories such as the Ark of the Covenant and

the head of Saul into the temple of Dagon (1 Samuel 31:9-10; 1 Chronicles 10:10)
page1image20128 page1image20288
Neptune, half-man, half-fish king of the ocean Poseidon
Marine spirits
Activities that pay homage to Dagon:
  •   Leaping over the threshold (Zephaniah 1:9, 1 Samuel 5:5)
  •   Actively acting on false beliefs such as not stepping on the threshold and
carrying the bride over the threshold (1 Samuel 5:5)
  •   Wearing a miter or hat that looks like an open fish mouth on your head, or paying
homage to someone who wears such a hat, such as a catholic pope or cardinal
  •   Abstaining from eating fish, or only eating fish on certain days as seen in the
    Roman Catholic religion
  •   Using the fish symbol, as many Christians does
  •   Filling the house of God with violence and deceit (Zephaniah 1:9)
2. Scripture References
  •   Judges 16:23 Now the lords of the Philistines gathered together to offer a great sacrifice to Dagon their god, and to rejoice. And they said: "Our god has delivered into our hands Samson our enemy!"
  •   1 Samuel 5:2 When the Philistines took the ark of God, they brought it into the house of Dagon and set it by Dagon.
  •   1 Samuel 5:3 And when the people of Ashdod arose early in the morning, there was Dagon, fallen on its face to the earth before the ark of the LORD. So they took Dagon and set it in its place again.
  •   1 Samuel 5:4 And when they arose early the next morning, there was Dagon, fallen on its face to the ground before the ark of the LORD. The head of Dagon and both the palms of its hands were broken off on the threshold; only Dagon's torso was left of it.
  •   1 Samuel 5:5 Therefore neither the priests of Dagon nor any who come into Dagon's house tread on the threshold of Dagon in Ashdod to this day.
  •   1 Samuel 5:7 And when the men of Ashdod saw how it was, they said, "The ark of the God of Israel must not remain with us, for His hand is harsh toward us and Dagon our god."
  •   Zephaniah 1:9-17 “In the same day I will punish All those who leap over the threshold, Who fill their masters' houses with violence and deceit. "And there shall be on that day," says the LORD, "The sound of a mournful cry from the Fish Gate, A wailing from the Second Quarter, And a loud crashing from the hills. Wail, you inhabitants of Maktesh! For all the merchant people are cut down; All those who handle money are cut off. And it shall come to pass at that time That I will search Jerusalem with lamps, And punish the men Who are settled in complacency, Who say in their heart, 'The LORD will not do good, Nor will He do evil.' Therefore their goods shall become booty, And their houses a desolation; They shall build houses, but not inhabit them; They shall plant vineyards, but not drink their wine." The great day of the LORD is near; It is near and hastens quickly. The noise of the day of the LORD is bitter; There the mighty men shall cry out. That day is a day of wrath, A day of trouble and distress, A day of
devastation and desolation, A day of darkness and gloominess, A day of clouds and thick darkness, A day of trumpet and alarm Against the fortified cities And against the high towers. I will bring distress upon men, And they shall walk like blind men, Because they have sinned against the LORD; Their blood shall be poured out like dust, And their flesh like refuse."
1 Chronicles 10:10 “Then they put his armor in the temple of their gods, and fastened his head in the temple of Dagon.” (King Saul‟s head)

Suggested wording: “I bind you (name of power) ______________ in the name of Jesus Christ who came in the flesh.” If you have identified these sins as bloodline sins, address it as follows: “I bind you (name of power) ______________ in the name of Jesus Christ who came in the flesh in the fourth, third, second and in this generation. I speak death over your roots, branches and fruits in the life of ________ (name of the person being delivered)”.
Command the demon to leave and continue to do so until it leaves. This is where you have to operate in Godly discernment. Ask the Lord to help you discern when the demon has left. From experience, we have learned that the following will help you in your warfare:
  •   Remind the demon that you are standing in the authority of Jesus Christ and that the demon is actually facing Christ and not you
  •   Remind the demon of the victory that we have through the blood of Christ that flowed on the cross
  •   Remind the demon that all his rights have been taken away
  •   Remind the demon that the person being delivered does not want it to reside in
them anymore. You may even request the person going through deliverance to say the words out loud: (Name of power) ___________, I don‟t want you inside of me. Leave me in the name of Jesus Christ who came in the flesh
  •   Quote scripture, as the Spirit of the Lord leads you. Examples of scriptures to quote:
    • Deuteronomy 32:30 “one chases a thousand, And two put ten thousand to flight”
    • Matthew 16:19 “And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."
    • Revelation 12:11 “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.”
    • Matthew 28:18 "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.”
    • Luke 10:19 “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
  •   Sing worship songs or praise the Lord
  •   Pray with understanding and pray in tongues
  •   Perform any prophetic actions that God gives you, for example:
    • Thrusting with the Sword of the Spirit
    • Walking around the person
    • Placing your hand on the person, as the Lord leads you. Always keeping
in mind the dignity of the person and what is proper and acceptable
    • Removing yokes and false mantles or bondages, as the Lord leads you
  •   When the demon has left the person‟s body, thank the Lord and ask Him to command His angels to take it to where the Lord requires it next
  •   Bind and cast out only those demons in the following list that you identify as having assisted this demonic power in its work within the person being ministered to. (Following the same steps as used to cast out the power) Spirit of idolatry, spirit of pride, spirit of rebellion, spirit of immorality, spirit of blasphemy, spirit of mental illness, spirit of hatred, spirit of lies, spirit of deception, spirit of lust, spirit of greed, spirit of fear, spirit of anxiety, spirit of stress, spirit of rejection, spirit of self-rejection, spirit of fear of rejection
  •   Bind and cast out each individual spirit in the name of Jesus Christ who came in the flesh. In addition, bind and cast out all the demons listed as Common Accomplices
  •   Lastly, bind and cast the following principalities out: Apollyon, Belial
Restoration and healing
  •   Invite the Lord Jesus Christ to take His rightful place on the throne of your heart
  •   This is a good time to pray for infilling of the Holy Spirit. Ask the Lord to fill you
with the Spirit of adoption into the Body of Christ
  •   This is also the right time to pray for any physical and emotional healing that is
required. We use olive oil as a symbol of the Holy Spirit and we lay our hands on
the sick and pray for healing in the name of Jesus Christ, who came in the flesh
  •   Identify the fruits of the Spirit that counteract the sins you were involved in and
set your mind on growing in these areas
  •   Ask the Lord to help you to renew your mind and to bring you to a place of
obedience where you will find scriptures and apply it when you find yourself under spiritual attack Renew your mind by consciously deciding against sinning. Gather scriptures that counteract the particular sins that plagued you and quote them in times of temptation until the urge to fall into sin flees from you
  •   Revoke and take back all rights Satan has to control your life, will, mind, emotions and body and submit them to the Lord
  •   Counteract the fruits of the spirit of lust by praying and spending time in God‟s presence, and by exercising self-control
  •   Find out who you are in Christ by identifying verses in the Bible. Memorize some of these verses and quote them when you find yourself under spiritual attack
  •   Quit looking at your own inabilities and failures and walk in God‟s abilities and righteousness
  •   Expect spiritual opposition and that the spirits that have left will try to return -- be alert and aware. Satan will try and attack you with self-centeredness and compromise. Counteract these attacks by consciously dying to your own will and submitting to what God wants in every area of your life
  •   Do not waste time under condemnation
  •   Pick up the sword of the Spirit and war against the powers, principalities and their
    fruits in your life!
    Equipping and Aftercare
  •   Share with the person the keys to retain their deliverance, as shared in this book. In fact, it would be excellent for this person to have a copy of this book and to read it cover to cover. This will ensure that they obtain much needed knowledge and will not perish for a lack thereof (Hosea 4:6)
  •   Please keep in mind, and share with the person, that they will be tired after deliverance. They might also continue experiencing minor manifestations for the next couple of days. This is normal and they need to press into the presence of the Lord and rest in Him during this time. This is why it is called warfare -- a spiritual battle has taken place and all those involved will feel the effects on their physical bodies

Scriptures to use against this spirit:
  •   Psalm 119:105 “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”
  •   Malachi 3:10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this," Says the LORD of hosts, "If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not
be room enough to receive it.
  •   Malachi 3:11 "And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not
destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the
    field," Says the LORD of hosts;
  •   Malachi 3:12 And all nations will call you blessed, For you will be a delightful
land," Says the LORD of hosts.”
